DESCRIPTION: What does it really take to stay connected across our differences? People & Peace welcomes Dr. Pamela Barnett Halladay, Dean of the School of the Arts & Communication at The College of New Jersey and Professor of Communication Studies, for a conversation about bridging cultures, communities, and ideological divides.\n\nDrawing from her experiences living and working in Ramallah in the 1990s, teaching English and African American Studies at the University of South Carolina, and her longtime study with psychologist and global conflict mediator Dr. Charles Rojzman, Dr. Barnett Halladay will explore what it takes to listen across differences, navigate conflict, and find ways to live and engage with one another.\n\nGENERAL INFORMATION\n\nThis is a hybrid event — register to attend in-person or virtually via Zoom. Switching from Zoom to in-person is not guaranteed based on availability. Zoom links will be sent to virtual participants 24 hours and 15 minutes before the event. Questions?
