DESCRIPTION: DESCRIPTION\nMany people think of migraines as “just headaches” and pelvic floor issues as something to live with, but both are often signs of deeper, treatable dysfunction.\nThink of the body like a pressure system:\n\nThe pelvic floor is the foundation\nThe diaphragm is the roof\nThe neck is the control center\nWhen this system is not well-coordinated, it can lead to symptoms such as:\nUrinary leakage or urgency\nPelvic pain or discomfort\nNeck stiffness and poor posture\nRecurrent headaches or migraines\n\nResearch suggests that:\nUp to 50% of women and 25% of men experience pelvic floor dysfunction at some point\nNearly 1 in 5 adults suffer from migraines, many with a musculoskeletal (neck-related) component\nThis session will explore how these seemingly separate issues are actually connected through muscle coordination, breathing patterns, and the nervous system.\nWe will also introduce how modern rehabilitation tools, including JOGO EMG biofeedback, can help “retrain” the brain and muscles, similar to using a mirror to correct posture, but for muscles you cannot see.\nGENERAL INFORMATION\nThis is a hybrid program. Participants who register to attend in-person will receive a reminder 24 hours in advance of the event. Those who reigster to attend virtually will receive a reminder with the zoom link both 24 hours and 15 minutes before the event. If you wish to switch how you will attend this program, please call us at 609-751-9699.
