Join us for the opening reception of "Around WTC," a World Trade Center art exhibit by photographer Samuel Vovsi. In 2007, Vovsi began working in Jersey City, steps from the Hudson waterfront, with a direct view of the World Trade Center site. Witnessing the void left in the Manhattan skyline, he felt a profound sense of loss. Over the years, as he moved to an office in Lower Manhattan near the emerging Freedom Tower, he captured the rebirth of the WTC. This exhibit showcases a selection of his powerful images, documenting the dramatic story of the new World Trade Center rising from the ashes of the old.
