What does it take to turn adversity into purpose? How do we find the courage to raise our voice, serve others, and create change where we live? This October, People & Peace welcomes Councilwoman Leticia Fraga, the first Latina ever elected to Princeton's Municipal Council and the town's Police Commissioner. From working alongside her family in the agricultural fields after arriving from Mexicali, Mexico, to helping shape the future of Princeton through public service, Leticia's journey is one of resilience, perseverance, and hope. Together, we'll explore what it means to lead with empathy, represent others with integrity, and discover how one person's story can inspire meaningful change.
