Season Three of Full Circle Play Reading brings three engaging afternoons of exceptional theater and conversation. Each staged reading explores timely, thought-provoking themes through compelling works by acclaimed playwrights. Following every performance, join the playwright, director, and actors for a lively talkback exploring both the art of theater and the ideas inspired by the play. Playwright Fred Dennehy returns to Full Circle with his play "A Visit in the Afternoon." Selected as a best play for the Strawberry One-Act Festival at Symphony Space in New York City, it was also performed in the Northport One-Act Play Festival and in Jersey Voices, honoring the best plays by New Jersey playwrights.

"A Visit in the Afternoon" is an intergenerational play about Mara, a 14-year-old who reluctantly agrees to visit her bad-tempered grandfather, who wants to give her something before he dies. What she receives from him and gives in return is completely unexpected.

Directed by award-winning New Jersey director Ed Faver, the performance will be followed by a lively talkback exploring the play, grandparenting, and the craft of writing and directing a play.

If you do need a refund, checks are issued for cash, check, and credit card payments; electronic payments are refunded electronically. Refund processing takes approximately 2 weeks. Refunds requested up to 6 business days before class are issued minus a $15 processing fee; no refund is offered 5 business days or less before class begins. No refund is offered for programs costing $15 or less, and a $15 processing fee applies to those who register for the same program more than once.
