Program Details

Ben Gottlieb is a cantor in a small New York town, still adrift after the death of his wife and struggling to find his voice — literally and spiritually. When Carla, his warm and witty childhood music teacher, walks back into his life with an unusual request — she wants to finally have her bat mitzvah at age 70 — the two form an unlikely bond that challenges them both. By turns funny and bittersweet, the film is a quietly moving story about grief, second chances, and the unexpected connections that pull us back to life.

Genre: Comedy/Drama, Rated: R, Run Time: 1 hour, 51 minutes

Please note: This film is rated R for language and some sexual references.
