Program Details

DESCRIPTION

Start your journey to improved well-being with our 6-week intro class to Tai Chi and Qigong. These ancient Chinese practices combine slow, deliberate movements and controlled breathing to enhance physical and mental health. Tai Chi is a system of gentle, flowing movements that can improve balance, flexibility, and muscle strength. Qigong focuses on breath control and a series of repetitive exercises to enhance energy flow (Qi) throughout the body and promote vitality.

EXERCISE WAIVER
All participants of CMAP exercise courses and classes are required to have a signed exercise waiver before participating in our activities. Exercise Waivers are good for one full year before needing to sign again. If you need to sign your exercise waiver, please do so in your member portal at https://engage.cmaprinceton.org/dashboard.

CMAP Exercise Waiver: I certify that I am in proper physical condition for safe participation in the Center for Modern Aging Princeton's physical activity programs. I acknowledge that I have been informed of the need to obtain my physician's approval for participation in this program prior to starting. I agree to use good judgement about my participation, including respecting my personal limits and not attending if I do not feel well. I understand that these activities are voluntary and designed for the benefit of the participants. I accept full responsibility for my health and for all damages, injuries and/or loss of personal property that I may sustain as a result of participating in this activity. I do not hold Center for Modern Aging Princeton, its employees and instructors, or other participants responsible for any injury or damage sustained from my participation.

REFUND INFORMATION
• We invite you to donate your refund to CMAP. Call us for more information
• Refund checks will be issued for cash, check, and credit card payments
• Payments made electronically will be refunded electronically
• Refund processing time is approximately 2 weeks
• Up to 6 business days before class begins — refunds will be issued minus a $15 processing fee
• No refund will be offered 5 business days or less before the class begins
• No refund will be offered for programs that cost $15 or less
• There will be a $15 processing fee for refunds to those who register for the same program more than once
