DESCRIPTION
Some stories stay with you, and this is one of them. In this moving session of People and Peace, local writer and memoirist Danuta Buzdygan invites us into her powerful life story: from WWII Poland and the German invasion of 1939, to the Warsaw Uprising, forced deportation, and eventually building a life in the U.S.
Danuta brings not only the depth of lived history, but also wisdom, resilience, and insight into what it means to survive and to heal. Her voice is urgent, relevant, and full of heart.
This is a conversation you won't want to miss, and one you'll carry with you long after it ends.
