For over 30 years, Coleen Marks has been writing and making art shaped by her unique take on the world. Born in Brooklyn, NY, and raised in a northern New Jersey iron ore mining community, she brings a keen observational lens to her primarily street photography.

Her work invites us to pause and ask, "Wait—what is that?" nudging us to notice what we might otherwise overlook. Each image becomes a small window into a world the camera captures—one that might've passed us by.

In an increasingly complex world, Coleen believes that it's through art that we can rediscover our shared humanity.
