DESCRIPTION -
Will explore the ongoing debate between biblical minimalists- who view the Bible as largely late literary construction with limited historical value- and maximalists, who see it as reliable source rooted in historical events. We'll examine the implications of this debate for understanding the Bible's origins and the history of ancient Israel.
Instructor: Rabbi Ben Adler
